Carroll's David Ejah had 24 points and nine rebounds before fouling out as overtime started, but his teammates rallied to outscore Snider 11-4 in the extra frame as Carroll (10-4, 6-1 SAC) rolled to a 58-51 win Friday.
Ejah had 16 of his 24 in the second half and went 10 of 18 from the field. Ryan Preston added 10 points. Carroll held Snider (10-5, 5-3 SAC) to 32 percent from the field.
Airyan Thomas led the Panthers in scoring with 18 points, all of which came on 3-pointers. Dillon Duff added 16.
CENTRAL NOBLE 55, CHURUBUSCO 53: In Albion, Connor Essegian scored 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds in the Central Noble (11-5, 8-2 NECC) win.The Cougars held a six point lead at the half. Despite Brayton Bonar's 20 points, Churubsuco (7-8, 1-6) couldn't slow down Central Noble.
CONCORDIA 55, NORTH SIDE 37: At North Side, Concordia (9-6, 5-3 SAC) forced 24 North Side (3-13, 1-5) turnovers to cruise to the win. Brayden Pearson went 7 of 12 from the field for a game-high 17 points. Adam Gottschalk added 11 for the Cadets. Ronald Collins led the Legends with nine points and eight rebounds.
SOUTH SIDE 56, BISHOP DWENGER 45: At South Side, JT Langston went 10 of 12 from the field for a game-high 25 points and seven rebounds in the win. South Side had 15 assists on 22 made baskets. Austin Jordan added 16 points. South Side improves to 3-9, 2-4 SAC and Dwenger falls to 7-6, 2-4.
HOMESTEAD 86, NORTHROP 44: At Northrop, Ayanna Patterson went 13 of 16 from the field for 28 points to lead Homestead (23-4, 10-0 SAC). Sydney Graber added 16 and Sylare Starks added 14. Treva Datcher led Northrop (11-9, 3-6) with 18 points but the Spartans were too much to handle.
BELLMONT 62, LEO 26: In Decatur, Bellmont's Grace Hunter was honored as she became Adams County's all-time leading scorer. She currently has 1,530 points. Bellmont (19-2, 7-0 NE8) cruised to the win behind Hunter's 20 points and Meghan Busick's 18. Hannah Adams had eight points to lead Leo (7-15, 2-5).
WOODLAN 46, SOUTH ADAMS 32: In Woodburn, Addison Bayman had 21 points to lead Woodlan (15-7, 4-2 ACAC) in the win. Emilee Myers countered with her own 21 points to lead the Starfires (10-12, 2-4), but didn't have as much help to mount the comeback. Dakotah Krohn added 12 points on the night for Woodlan.
