West Noble and Bellmont boys move into XC poll, Homestead girls out

West Noble boys cross country returned to the top 25 after finishing third at the West Noble regional meet on Saturday, appearing at No. 17 in the coaches poll released Monday. Bellmont also popped into the rankings at No. 24 after winning the Marion regional. 

Concordia, the winner of the West Noble regional, remains the No. 1 boys team in the state, while Homestead dropped four spots to No. 8 after finishing as the runner-up. Columbia City (fifth in the West Noble regional) dropped a spot to No. 25.

Carroll remains the topped-ranked girls team after winning the West Noble regional, and runner-up Bishop Dwenger stayed at No. 15. Homestead, which was No. 13 last week, does not appear in this week's poll after finishing third at regionals, and Concordia moved up three spots to No. 18 after finishing fourth. Warsaw held steady at No. 23 after winning the Culver Academies regional.
