Essegian sets Central Noble scoring record

Central Noble sophomore Connor Essegian broke the program's single-game scoring record Monday with 40 points in a 77-47 win over Bethany Christian. He shot 10 of 13 from 3, breaking his own school record for most 3-pointers in a game, and hit 4 of 5 shots from inside the arc. He also had seven rebounds and two steals. 

Bethany Christian led 31-30 at halftime, but the Cougars (14-4) outscored the Bruins 23-9 in the third quarter.
