Snider's Jenkins named Player of the Week

Karson Jenkins is one of six players to receive IBCA Player of the Week honors based on his performance at the Huntington North Holiday Hoops Tournament. Jenkins scored 26 points with five rebounds and five assits in the tournament-opening win over Huntington North on Wednesday. He added another 24 points, six rebounds and five assists in Snider's second win of the day over Lake Central.
Jenkins had 26 points, three rebounds and two steals in the tournament final, a 77-65 loss to Fishers.
Darrion Brooks of New Haven, Zach Hubartt of Huntington North, Fletcher Loyer of Homestead, Luke McBride of Norwell and Nataley Armstrong of Garrett were also nominated for District 1 player of the week honors.
