Homestead No. 11, Central Noble No. 14 in boys IBCA poll

Homestead (10-5) dropped four spots to No. 11 but remains the top-ranked local team in this week's IBCA boys poll.

Homestead handed Blackhawk Christian its first loss of the season in overtime on Tuesday but fell to Snider, 74-69, on Friday night. 

Central Noble (15-0) climbed a spot to No. 14 after claiming its third straight NECC tournament title. The Cougars, who have the most wins of any team in the state and are one of seven undefeated boys teams left, beat Angola, West Noble, Fremont and Eastside in tournament play this week. 

Blackhawk Christian (12-1) remains No. 17 despite the loss to Homestead. The Braves also picked up a win against Bishop Luers. 

Snider (8-2) and Leo (8-2) each received votes. Leo fell to New Haven, 69-63, on Friday night. 

Carmel (10-3) is once again the top-ranked team in the poll, rising two spots this week, and undefeated Chesterton (12-0) moved up two spots to No. 2. Each of the top 15 teams in the boys poll moved at least one spot this week.
