Homestead remains on top, Snider and Garrett climb in latest IBCA poll

Homestead girls basketball remains the top-ranked team in the state according to the Week 11 IBCA poll, which includes teams in all four classifications. The Spartans, who are 17-1 and have not lost since Nov. 20, received 17 first-place votes, while second-place Franklin Community (18-1) claimed the other three. 

Snider (13-3) climbed a spot from No. 13 to No. 12 despite falling to Homestead on Friday, 71-66. Columbia City (17-1) fell two spots to No. 16 after suffering its first loss of the year, losing 54-43 at Huntington North on Saturday. 

Garrett, which won four games this week to claim the NECC tournament title and improve to 20-1, rose two spots to No. 17. 

Warsaw (14-5) continues to receive votes.
