Homestead's Patterson named a McDonald's All American

Homestead senior Ayanna Patterson has been named to the girls roster for the McDonald's All American Game, which will be held in Chicago on March 29.
The top 24 senior boys and 24 senior girls basketball players across the nation are invited to participate. This year is the 45th anniversary of the first McDonald's All American Game.
Patterson is a 6-foor-2 wing who has committed to play at UConn next year. She is averaging 25.4 points, 12 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.8 blocks per game. Her Spartans (19-1) are currently ranked No. 1 in the IBCA poll, which includes all four classes.
