Christopher P. Moore, a private wealth adviser with Ameriprise Financial in Fort Wayne, was named by Barron’s Magazine to the list of America’s Top 1,200 Advisors: State-by-State.


Evan Howe was hired as a patrol deputy for the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office.


Brotherhood Mutual’s board of directors appointed Ryan Skoog, founder and president of Fly for Good and co-founder and president of Venture Expeditions, as a board member. The company also promoted Gabe Brown to assistant vice president – sales and special markets; Tom Lichtenberger, assistant vice president – property claims; Steven R. Smith, assistant vice president – underwriting; Joshua Spencer, assistant vice president – chief actuary; and Stephanie Weiss, assistant vice president – senior corporate counsel.


Rob Niman was hired as a branch manager by Indianapolis-based C&T Design and Equipment Co. for its new regional office in Fort Wayne to better serve the food-service industry of northeast Indiana.


Kristin Whitacre with SYM Financial Advisors was promoted to financial adviser and Brandon Stewart to financial paraplanner.


The Steuben County Sheriff’s Merit Board recently promoted William Lanoue to patrol sergeant and Brad Kline and Eric Patterson to patrol corporals.


Greater Fort Wayne Hispanic Chamber of Commerce announced its 2015-16 board members and officers. Board members are Reynol Trevino, Laredo Foods/Tre-Gar Inc.; Ben Miles, Parkview; Gulya Alexander, Northeast Indiana Innovation Center; Herb Hernandez, Fort Wayne Urban League; and Clayton Crum, iAB Financial. Tamara Mitchell joined Felderman Design-Build as its accounting/office manager.


Do it Best Corp. hired Tracey Muldoon in order entry; Ally Ransom as an IT Developer; and John Paul Rivera, IT business analyst.


Greg Thomas with Ruoff Home Mortgage was the top overall loan originator for February and Larry Dickey for the southwest office.


Hannah Schutter was hired as marketing director for Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts and Julie Parke as its new development director.


Gary Horton was named vice president of operations for Buchanan Hauling and Rigging and Richard Miller as vice president of special projects and cargo.
