New Haven will gain 125 jobs with an Elkhart company's plans to buy a local marine furniture maker.
Lippert Components Inc. plans to buy Signature Seating at 6900 Nelson Road for about $16 million.
Lippert filed an application with the Allen County Department of Planning Services to phase in taxes on $678,160 in new equipment for the New Haven plant.
The New Haven City Council will consider the requested tax break.
Lippert makes components for recreational vehicles.
New Haven recently has been stung by the loss of 400 jobs with the closures of Vera Bradley and Parker Hannifin.
