Fundraisers

DRIVE-IN AND DINE BENEFIT CONCERT: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday; Lima Plank Shoppes, 14517 Lima Road; featuring “Cadence”; sponsored by New Old Again, Peppi's bar and Well Grounded Café; enjoy drive-in style entertainment from a socially safe distance inside your vehicle; car hop food service; all proceeds go to Pinspired Marketplace to help with its mission of making and providing face masks for anyone in need.

HELPING TO RESCUE KIDS: Little Luciana's Boutique in Fort Wayne has partnered with Destiny Rescue, an international, Christian nonprofit based in Fort Wayne, to help rescue children from human trafficking; the boutique will donate 10% of its sales of unique children clothing to the organization.

NEIGHBORHOOD HEALTH: Video visits are now being offered with a medical provider; in-office visits are still available; no visitors are permitted unless a caregiver or guardian for minors and adults; downtown office is at 1717 S. FORT WAYNE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT BLOOD DRIVE: 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday; 3801 Ferguson Road; healthy individuals feeling well are asked to make an appointment by downloading the free Red Cross Blood Donor App, by going to RedCrossBlood.org or calling 800-733-2767; donors are asked to schedule an appointment prior to arriving and are required to wear a face covering or mask.

ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION GREATER INDIANA CHAPTER ADDS NEW VIRTUAL SUPPORT GROUPS DURING COVID-19 CRISIS: 5 p.m. Tuesday; “10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer's”; learn about common symptoms to look for, tips to approach someone who is experiencing changes in their memory and the benefit of early detection and diagnosis; all programs and support groups are free and available online or by phone; registration is required at www.alz.org/Indiana/helping_you or 800-272-3900.
