ART AWARDS: The following received the 2022 Arts United Awards: Chris Ford; Greg Mendez; Carolyn Meyer and Karissa Kalb; Sheila Moore and Jomare Bowers-Mizzell; Leah Reeder; Zynette Paige; Bryan Ballinger, Margaret Ann Keegan Award for Arts Education; Dorothy Kittaka, Mayor's Arts Award; Daniel Reuning, Lifetime Achievement Award; and Condra Ridley, Lifetime Achievement Award.
ART GRANT AWARDED: Arts United was awarded a $10,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts to support the Allen County Folklife Study, which will study the county's community cultures' traditional dance and related art forms. The study is planned to be conducted this year.
