Arts Update

CARNEGIE PERFORMANCE: Sai Ramani, a student at Homestead High School, has been selected for the 2022 High School Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall. Ramani will perform on the alto saxophone next month with the Honors Performance Series Honor Band, in which participation is limited to the highest-rated high school performers in the world. Ramani is a member of the Homestead High School Wind Ensemble and Advanced Jazz Band. Ramani will join students from 47 countries that include United States, Australia, Bermuda, China, Guam and South Korea in New York City for five days.

ARTS GRANTS: The National Endowment for the Arts awarded grants to the following local organizations: $10,000, Arts United of Greater Fort Wayne, and $10,000, Audiences Unlimited.
