With the holidays coming up, here are some holiday recipes to serve to a variety of guests.

Maple Butter Kiss


11/2 ounce vodka

1/2 ounce DeKuyper Buttershots liqueur or butterscotch schnapps

1/4 ounce real maple syrup

1 ounce half-and-half

Fresh ground nutmeg

Pour liquid ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously. Strain into a martini glass and top with fresh-ground nutmeg.

Rosemary Collins

1/4 cup gin

2 tablespoons simple syrup

2 tablespoons lemon juice


Club soda

Rosemary sprig

Place gin, simple syrup, lemon juice and ice in a cocktail shaker. Cover with lid, and shake vigorously until thoroughly chilled. Strain into a highball glass filled with ice cubes; top with club soda. Garnish with rosemary sprig.

Easy Blender Eggnog

2 cups heavy cream

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

4 large eggs

3/4 cup brandy

In a medium saucepan, bring the heavy cream, sugar and nutmeg just to a simmer.

In a blender, blend the eggs on low speed for 1 minute. With the motor running, gradually add the hot cream mixture. Blend until frothy, about 30 seconds more. Add the brandy and blend to combine. Serve warm.


Cider Jack Cocktails

2 ounces applejack liquer

1 once lemon juice

Splash of grenadine or simple syrup


Hard apple cider

Cinnamon stick

Shake ingredients in a shaker with ice. Strain into an ice-filled glass. Top with hard apple cider and serve with a cinnamon stick.
