Nailed It Decorating Competition: 10 a.m. to noon, 2 to 4 p.m., and 6 to 8 p.m., Country Kitchen SweetArt, 4621 Speedway Drive, registration required, spectators welcome

Picture Your Pet: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Animal Care & Control, 3020 Hillegas Road, $20 donation
