Two manufacturers announced plans today to expand operations in Warsaw and Shipshewana, adding 42 jobs during the next few years, the Indiana Economic Development Corp. announced.
Texmo Precision Castings of the United Kingdom will invest $2.5 million to renovate and equip its operations in Warsaw, with plans to invest $5.48 million through 2020 and add 30 jobs, the economic development corporation said in a statement.
ARI Legacy Sleepers of Shipshewana will construct and equip an addition to its facility, adding 12 jobs, the statement said.
Based on their job-creation plans, the IEDC offered Texmo up to $120,000 in conditional tax credits and offered American Reliance Industries Co., which does business as ARI Legacy Sleepers, up to $50,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $25,000 in training grants. Kosciusko County and Shipshewana also approved tax abatements.
