The Journal Gazette

The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a house fire early Sunday at 1630 Kelly Drive.

When crews arrived at 4:47 a.m., they found the vacant two-story home had smoke and flames coming from the first and second floor, the department said.

Crews were able to extinguish the blaze in less than 15 minutes and no one was injured.

The home was heavily damaged, the department said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
