1 hurt in Huntington home explosion

One person was injured in a home explosion this morning in Huntington.

Fire Chief Tim Albertson said firefighters were called around 6 a.m. to the intersection of Leopold and Second streets, where a home was in flames. He said it took crews about 15 minutes to get the fire under control. 

A person inside the home was taken to a local hospital.

The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
