Stabbing puts man in hospital

A stabbing victim originally thought to be in critical condition has been upgraded, Fort Wayne police said.

Officers responded to a home in the 2700 block of Sterling Street at 1:06 a.m. Thursday and found a man outside suffering from apparent stab wounds, according to a news release. The victim was taken to a hospital.

Police believe an altercation happened but have no suspects or more details.
