Four Fort Wayne men were charged this week with child molesting and other sex offenses.
Jon D. Gardner, 57, of the 3500 block of Eastwood Drive, was charged Monday with child molesting and dissemination of matter harmful to minors.
Although one of his alleged victims said the molestation started in January 2019 when the victim turned 13, Gardner was charged with offenses occurring in August and September. The abuse took place at his home, according to court documents.
Gardner told his young male victims he wanted to measure the boys for suits he was going to buy them, but the suits never materialized. While he measured them, he would touch them inappropriately, they said.
One of the victims said Gardner made him undress and used a vibrating device on him. Gardner told him he wanted to “teach him about puberty and masturbation,” according to court documents. Gardner also showed the boys porn movies.
A warrant was issued for his arrest.
Relative accused of touching teen
A 13-year-old girl accused a relative of touching and fondling her when he came into her home in May and asked her to sit on his lap when her parents weren't around.
Ruben Magana Tamayo, 47, of the 7900 block of Serenity Drive, was charged Tuesday with child molesting.
At first, the victim thought the fondling was a mistake because her dog was in her arms, but other inappropriate touchings took place, including his demand for a kiss. The victim described the kiss as an adult kiss. A warrant was issued for his arrest.
9-year-old tells grandma of rape
A 9-year-old boy told his grandmother that someone who had married into the family had raped him. Then he told forensic interviewers that the abuse occurred between July 2014 and December.
Jamone Montrel Williams, 34, of the 300 block of East Hoover Drive, was charged Tuesday with child molesting.
The boy said sometimes he would try to sleep through the abuse that Williams referred to as a “back massage.”
A warrant was issued for Williams arrest.
Friend of brother faces accusation
Joshua Hoover, 27, of the 5000 block of Wisteria Lane, was charged Monday with child molestation after a young girl accused him of performing sex acts on her when she stayed over at a friend's house.
The girl said she was on the floor with other kids watching a movie when the touching began.
Hoover was a friend of her brother's at the time of the incident, she said.
Hoover was being held at the Allen County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
