Woman dies in 2-vehicle crash in northern Allen County

A woman died following a two-vehicle collision in northern Allen County Thursday.

A pickup truck was northbound on Coldwater Road south of Fitch Road and a passenger car was southbound on Coldwater when the two vehicles collided almost head-on, the Allen County Sheriff's Department said.

A woman who drove the passenger car died at a hospital. The man who drove the pickup truck had minor injuries, police said.

The Allen County coroner will identify the woman who died.
