Vacant home demolished by fire

A vacant home went up in flames early Sunday. 

Fort Wayne firefighters were called to 1530 Edsall Ave. at 2:38 a.m. and found a two-story home engulfed in flames.

It took several crews about a half hour, to put the flames out, a statement said.

No one was injured in fighting the blaze, it said.

The home was heavily damaged and will be demolished.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
