ANTWERP, Belgium – Antwerp has made use of one its greatest assets – the city's zoo – to put kids at ease for their first COVID-19 shot.
Close to the entrance, specially designed safari tents were set up with photos of zoo animals. To distract kids inside the tent, they were given light pointers to find the animals they like best while they got their shot.
Any pain quickly dissipated when they and their parents were allowed to stroll through the greenhouse and visit the monkey enclosure.
