Outlook: Purdue Fort Wayne goes for the season sweep after winning the previous matchup in Fort Wayne. The teams faced each other Jan. 1, when the Mastodons shot 42.6% from the field while limiting South Dakota's shooters to just 35.7% en route to an 70-59 victory in the conference opener. ... Since that loss, the Coyotes have won 3 of 4 to climb back to .500 in Summit League play. ... The Mastodons are led by sophomore guard Jarred Godfrey, who is averaging 16.1 points, eighth in the Summit League. He is also fifth in the conference in assists with 67 and is second in minutes per game at 33.9. ... PFW has centered much of its offense around 3-point attempts this season, shooting 26.5 per game, 17th-most in the country. The Mastodons are only hitting 32.1% of those attempts, however, which ranks 245th nationally. ... South Dakota has relied heavily on its seniors.
