GREEN BAY, Wis. – Aaron Jones rushed for a season-high 134 yards and a touchdown to lead the Green Bay Packers to a 20-15 victory over Washington on Sunday.
“Man, I was born in December. I'm a Sagittarius. I've got a lot juice left,” said Jones while laughing.
Aaron Rodgers threw for 195 yards and a score, and the Packers (10-3) did enough to put away Washington.
Jones had his third 100-yard rushing game of the season and hauled in six passes for 58 yards.
Adrian Peterson became the sixth back in NFL history to reach the 14,000-yard mark, running for 76 yards and a score for Washington (3-10), which was eliminated from playoff contention.
“It means a lot, man,” said Peterson on reaching the career milestone. “It's history – six guys, I'm one of them. That kind of speaks for itself, so it's an amazing feeling, an amazing accomplishment.”
FALCONS 40, PANTHERS 20: In Atlanta, Matt Ryan threw the longest touchdown pass of his career and became the 10th quarterback in NFL history to reach 50,000 yards as Atlanta handed Carolina (5-8) its fifth straight loss and eliminated the Panthers from playoff contention. The Falcons (4-9) snapped a two-game losing streak and swept the season series with its NFC South rival.
BRONCOS 38, TEXANS 24: In Houston, rookie Drew Lock threw for 309 yards and three touchdowns, and Kareem Jackson had an interception and returned a fumble 70 yards for a touchdown to lead Denver.
BROWNS 27, BENGALS 19: In Cleveland, Nick Chubb ran for 106 yards, and Baker Mayfield and Kareem Hunt had rushing touchdowns as Cleveland (6-7) handed Cincinnati (1-12) its 10th straight loss in AFC North games.
JETS 22, DOLPHINS 21: In East Rutherford, New Jersey, Sam Ficken kicked a 44-yard field goal as time expired to lift New York, which benefited from a pass interference call determined by the league's officiating office.
VIKINGS 20, LIONS 7: In Minneapolis, Danielle Hunter had three of Minnesota's five sacks as the Vikings (9-4) handed Detroit its sixth straight loss. Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins passed for 242 yards and a touchdown.
CHARGERS 45, JAGUARS 10: In Jacksonville, Florida, Philip Rivers threw for 314 yards and three touchdowns, including an 84-yarder to Austin Ekeler that was the longest completion of the quarterback's 16-year NFL career, to lead Los Angeles (5-8).
TITANS 42, RAIDERS 21: In Oakland, California, Ryan Tannehill threw for 391 yards and three touchdowns, and Derrick Henry ran for two scores to lead Tennessee (8-5) to its fourth straight win.
